SCHEDULE:

Meet will take place on Saturday, November 7 at Floyd Lamb Park – South Horse Trails. The start and finish area will be behind the historic area/buildings of Floyd Lamb. After entrance to the park, the first parking lot area is where the historic grounds sit. Course consist of dirt/gravel trails.

 

Course maps will be available on athletic.net meet information page. Races will begin at 9:00 am.  Youngest age group will compete first. With current entries, boys and girls will run together. If numbers exceed what is safe with current COVID guideline, then boys will run first wave with girls following 5 minutes behind.

Eligibility Requirements:

Individuals: Due to issues with USATF Connect, it is not required to have a USATF membership for this race.

But as this a Championship meet, medals will be given to those athletes who have a valid USATF membership are DOB verified and are members of the Nevada Association.  Due to COVID and the limited numbers of races in other areas, all athletes are welcome to participate.

ENTRY FEES & DEADLINES:

On-Time Registration: Must be completed by Thursday November 5 at 5:00 PM

ONLY ONLINE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Individual Entries: $15.00 per athlete      Team Entries: No separate charge

DIRECTIONS & PARKING: The meet will take place at Floyd Lamb Park, 9200 Tule Springs Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. Take US - 95 N to N Durango Rd. Turn right on N Durango Rd and travel for ~1.5 miles. Turn right onto Brent Ln, which becomes Tule Springs Rd. There is an entry fee of $6 dollars per car into the park. Usually, if you arrive prior to 8 am there is no one at the entry gate. If you arrive early, your gate fee should be covered. There is also free parking and entry into the park off of Racel St, but you will have a long walk to the start area. Start area is located behind the historic buildings. Vehicle parking should be near the horse stables or park area 2, there is also a dirt parking lot on the left hand side of the main entry road across the street from park area 2.

 

 

Meet Day Information

 

 

USATF tent will be set up near the start line area and team packets and individual athletes’ info can be obtained here. 

 

COVID Guidelines

Nevada has an allowance for gathering up to 250 people. While spectators are not allowed at events, we understand that parents will need to supervise our younger athletes. Please keep parents and coaches at a minimum. Parents and Coaches will be required to wear a mask. Athletes should wear a mask, if they are not in any phase of their competition (warm up, race, cool down).

1. All athletes will have to complete a health screening questionnaire and waiver signed by parent/guardian.

2. Athletes will have to complete a temperature check
